Our annual convention, entitled "Colleagues, Collaboration and Change," which was held in Reno, Nevada March 21st and 22nd was a huge success. We had approximately 140 attendees and had rave reviews. Thanks so much to all whom attended. Stay tuned to this site for dates of the 2010 convention. We hope to set the date at our next meeting, which will be the end of April.
Over the next several months we will be working on our to do list which includes many ideas, which will improve our state association and bring us into the 21st century. Some of these include: web based registration, credit card payments, amedments to the bylaws (expect a ballot in the mail in the next few months), annual budgets, a policy and procedure manual.
This is your state association so we welcome all participation and suggestions.

NSHA is now on the venues My Space and Facebook in an effort to more effectively network across our great state.
Monthly meetings take place at 5:30, the second Wednesday of the month at The Continuum in Reno with a conference call to Nevada State College in Las Vegas.
