President's Farewell 
As I reflect over my two years as President of the Nevada Speech Hearing Association, I would like to thank the Executive Board and Auxiliary support personnel for all their hard work and dedication during the term 2006-2008. I would also like to take a moment to say that I have truly enjoyed my experience these last two years. I appreciate having had the opportunity to work with such amazing individuals, meeting new people and establishing collaborations both personal and professional.
Thank you for the support, guidance, and encouragement you have provided me during my term as President. I believe the secret to success is doing things not merely because they are popular, but because you deeply believe in them. It has been an honor to represent this Association and as I bid farewell, I continue to challenge each of you to look ahead in your own professional lives and determine what your contribution might be for the future of our state organization. I look forward to continuing to be an active member of NSHA and extend my support to the next executive board from Reno.

Upcoming NSHA Elections!
The current NSHA Board's term expires on June 30, 2008. If you are interested in becoming a board member, or know of someone who is interested in becoming a board member, please contact a current NSHA Board Member with name, phone number, and position desired. If you are nominating someone please be sure to check with them ahead of time so they are aware of the nomination. The positions that will need to be filled are the following:
- President, Vice-President/President Elect,
- Vice President,
- Secretary,
- Treasurer,
- SEAL,
- and Business Manager.
