The 2010 nomination period for the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation’s Roland J. Van Hattum Award for Schools-Related Professionals is now open, and you are invited to nominate a professional who meets the criteria for selection. In addition to the national recognition, the awardee will receive $1,000, and the school system represented by the recipient will receive $500. The deadline for nominations is April 15, 2010. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation invites all state associations to nominate a candidate for the 2010 Louis M. DiCarlo Award for Recent Clinical Achievement and State Clinical Achievement Awards Program. Each state association is asked to select one individual from within the state to receive an award for demonstrated contributions to the advancement of knowledge in clinical practice in speech-language pathology or audiology. From among all state clinical achievement award nominations, one individual will be chosen as the recipient of the Louis M. DiCarlo Award and will receive $1,500 to further the work upon which the award is based. All submissions must be postmarked by April 1, 2010.
