The 2012 NSHA Annual Convention will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada March 24 and 25, 2012 at the Santa Fe Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

You may register online with registration form below. It's an easy two step process. Fill in the registration form below. You will then need to go to the Online Store and complete payment via your credit card. You may also download the NSHA registration brochure for information on speakers and mail in the registration form and payment fees.

The NSHA conference will be held on March 24-25, 2012.   The tracks may look a little different this year. Our goal of providing quality continuing education credits you will need to keep your licenses up to date remains the same.

NSHA is proud to welcome Martha Coen-Cummings, Ph.D. CCC-SLP. She will be speaking on Saturday. Her topic will be Language and Auditory Processing EBP Interventions. This is open to both SLPs and audiologists.

NSHA also welcomes Bill Connors, M.A., CCC SLP. He will be speaking on both Saturday and Sunday.    Both sessions will be unique and are open to both medical and school-based SLPs. His topic for Saturday will be on Brain Compatible Aphasia Treatment focusing on exploiting neuroplasticity and addressing the cognitive underpinning for optimizing aphasia recovery. On Sunday, his topic will be Motor Reconnect Apraxia Program focusing on the innovative treatment with the use of technology.

Finally, NSHA welcomes back Susan R. Lloyd, Au.D, CCC/A, FAAA who will be speaking on Sunday. Her AM topic will be Ears Go to War . . . and then what? Her PM topic will be Providing Better Clinical Service, One Ear at a Time.
Rooms and Lodging Info:

The Santa Fe Hotel & Casino is located at 4949 N. Rancho Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89130. A block of rooms has been reserved for $86.25 Friday/Saturday and $63.85 Sunday (includes tax and resort fee). To make room reservations please call the reservation line at 1-866-767-7771 and refer to the Nevada Speech Language Hearing Associaition. The deadline for making room reservations is midnight March 9, 2012 (PST).

Handouts:
NSHA is going green with handouts. You have the option to purchase handouts for the convention for $10.00 in the NSHA online store. You may save money and print your own handouts when they are posted online prior to the convention date.
