In order to receive the salary supplement, the speech pathologist (i.e. speech-language pathologist), must be an employee of a school district, must be licensed by the Nevada Department of Education, Nevada Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech Pathology, certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) (e.g. holder of the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)), and assigned by the school district to serve as a speech pathologist during the school year.
