Description:
It is highly likely at some point in a SLP’s career that they will need to work with an interpreter when providing services to clients. This CEU event will cover best practices and standards for using language assistance in both hospital and school settings. A guiding framework of the interpretation process with video demonstrations will be presented, including the role of trained interpreters and how to navigate non-ideal circumstances using an interpreter.
