School Based Medicaid: A model for UTDO regulations CEU – July 29, 2021

Course Description: 

This professional development for Speech Language Pathologists increased awareness and understanding of overlapping federal and state regulations and policy, roles and responsibilities regarding peer oversight of services and documentation of services, ASHA guidance, and Medicaid responsibilities. This course focused on providing a deeper understanding of licensure allowances and limitations, with systemic and standardized procedures regarding organization, workload, communication, oversight, collaboration and documentation of Under The Direction Of (UTDO) services across service delivery models for school-based providers in order to ensure that services are  accountable and in alignment with federal, state, local, and school district laws and regulations, and practices to secure Medicaid reimbursement.
